There was so much. 2015 was the second year of my business, it was the first year that I was a mother with a business. It was full of travel, and tears (happy and sad), it was about new friends, and so much love and support. It was about my attempt at finding balance and failing, and then failing again...and then again. Then it was about trying to fail better, about facing challenges head on while still acknowledging the many gifts that are constantly on my path. It was about figuring out how to be a person and also be an artist and parent. It was about priorities.
To every single person who hired me this last year, to every person who inquired or reached out, I want to thank you from the very bottom of my heart for being patient with me when that email didn't get returned right away. I want you to know how supported I felt when you had faith that your edited images were coming your way, how validating and affirming it was to get the messages and notes about how those images made you feel. To those of you who acknowledged that while my life is completely enveloped in my business, my passion, my art it is also filled with relationships and newness and adjustments. Being a business owner and person isn't always easy and all these little gestures that you made, made it easier for me to figure out what that means. THANNNK YOU!
I am so so excited to share these images, especially because I have barely shared any of my work from 2015 on here. I've included a little playlist to enjoy while you peruse some (ok, a lot!) of my favorite images from last year. I hope you can feel all of the intention and love that went into making these memories and captures and I hope that they inspire you or at the very least make you feel a moment of something.
I love this crazy job of mine, that brings me to so many people all over the world, I love this crazy life that throws so much at you that you are sure you won't be able to handle it, but then you do. To all my 2015 people, thank you thank you! To all my 2016 people, get ready!
