I am in the midst of my first ever full time manzanita week. I was supposed to sort of phase out of my day job, but the phasing out happened a lot quicker than me (or anyone else) expected. I can already tell that I am going to quickly arrive to question "how the hell did I do this much WITH a full time job?" It feels good to not have to rush off to work in the morning. It doesn't quite feel like I have a ton of extra time yet, but I do have time to cook healthy meals and I even let my sister drag me to the gym.
Today I woke up and worked on a couple bouquets for some clients. I knew I would be impatient in waiting for photos of them with their rightful owners so I called up a couple of my ladies to throw on my old wedding dresses and do some modeling for me. I LOVE these two, sadly with quitting my day job I am not going to be seeing them everyday like I am used to. So lucky to have beautiful friends who are willing to play dress up with me at a moment's notice, even better that they are willing to be paid in mochas and synergys:)
Tomorrow I leave for North Carolina to shoot what I predict to be the most lovely southern farm weddings. Wait, can I just bask in the reality that is I AM A FULL TIME WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER! Seriously, still hasn't sunk in guys. So grateful, so excited, so honored. Here is some eye candy to kick off the end of your week.
